These one-of-a-kind prints are made using acrylic paint on thin rice paper with a printing plate made of gelatine. Each print is unique. I use a brayer to make marks. I use card stock to make stencils or masks. I mount the finished prints to a wooden panel. A finishing layer of either cold wax medium or encaustic is added to finish off the paintings.
Many of these original monoprints are available for purchase at The Mill Pond Gallery in Cargill, Ontario.
